Conditions: Cooler than it has been of late – but nice weather for running.
Remarks: I had Pilates last night and the plan was to do a 30 minute warm up before the class – well this didn’t go as planned.
By the time I arrived at the class I only had 15 minutes before the start of class – so I went for a 10 minute easy run, when I got back I didn’t stretch and I got a calf muscle spasm about 10 minutes into class.
The class itself was good and I think at my level. I drove home after the class and when for a very easy 2 mile run to get the stress out of me.
Recovery: After the second run I did a good bit of stretching of my left calf, and I used bio freeze on it going to bed. I was hungry and I had a very large bowl of porridge going to bed.
