After meeting with Peter this morning the new Plan is to stay with the 1:40 pacers until mile 10, At mile 10 if I still have energy I’m to go for it.
The issue is after having a Sinus infection for so long, and my calves being so tight (maybe due to the Sinus infection) I need to back off my target a small bit – 1:40 would still be a 1/2 marathon PB by 5 minutes, and you never know I could get back between 30 seconds and 1 1/2 minutes if I go for it during the last 3 miles (so my target is between 1:38 and 1:40)
Let’s see what happens…….
